EmpowerHer is delighted to introduce Dr. Yvonne Codd, an accomplished academic and researcher committed to advancing occupational therapy practice. Based at Trinity College Dublin, Yvonne’s work focuses on positioning parenting and employment as central domains of occupational performance for individuals living with enduring health conditions.
Her research program explores these life roles and evaluates occupation-focused interventions that enhance engagement and enjoyment in daily life. Beyond research, Yvonne teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate occupational therapy programs and actively contributes to interprofessional education initiatives, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
