Her studies explore quality of life, bone health, and physical activity among breast cancer survivors—work that has earned her recognition through numerous publications, conferences, and awards.
“For me, the greatest value of the EmpowerHer project is its core principle of co-creation with patients. This transforms them from passive recipients into an essential part of the team, having an active role in their own treatment and recovery. At the same time, it allows us, as professionals, to become continuous learners, gaining invaluable insights directly from their experiences.” — Dr. Ana Martínez Aspas
Through EmpowerHer, Ana champions a multidisciplinary approach to care, prevention, and health promotion—ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and integrated treatments. Her dedication to teaching, research, and collaboration continues to shape the future of women’s health.
This international effort brings together a strong consortium: Universitat de València, the European Platform for Sport Innovation (EPSI), Olympiacos SFP, Cluster Sports & Technology, Surpass Sport Systems, and Poznańskie Centrum Superkomputerowo-Sieciowe.
