For Alkisti Zevgoli, health coach and medical tattoo artist based in Greece, true recovery also means helping women reconnect with their bodies, rebuild their confidence, and regain a sense of identity.
Today, Alkisti specializes in 3D nipple and areola tattooing and scar camouflage, supporting women after breast surgery. But her journey into this field began with a simple conversation.
A Moment That Changed Everything
While working as a health coach supporting women affected by breast cancer, Alkisti met a woman who shared a deeply personal struggle.
Nearly two years after her surgery, she still didn’t feel comfortable undressing in front of her husband. Although her treatment was over, the emotional impact of losing part of her body remained.
That conversation stayed with Alkisti.

Determined to find a way to help, she began training with a tattoo artist, learning 3D tattooing techniques before continuing her education in medical tattooing and pigmentation.
More Than a Physical Transformation
The work Alkisti does today is about much more than aesthetics.
Using specialized pigments and advanced techniques, she creates realistic 3D nipple tattoos on reconstructed breasts and helps reduce the visibility of surgical scars. The goal is not perfection—it is confidence.
Many of the women she meets tell her they no longer feel like themselves after surgery. Some struggle with body image, while others find it difficult to embrace their new reality.
